A very nice hobby we share are the Braunschweig Lions - not only 'cause of the following reasons (which make it much sweeter, though ...):

Six times german bowl defender and three times european bowl defender in american football!

Way more important: It´s said to be the best american football in whole europe! This is due to the great temper, the highest fairness. This is american football in Brunswick!

Need an example? Some years ago there was a game with Denmark. Suddenly the stadion was full of police and security! In the halftime-break only those who were interested in the game stayed.
In soccer this squad of security sadly is neccesary, even has to be provided at the train stations. In football now there aren´t even security gards anymore.

The last seven German Bowls all were with "our" team - shortly we got all of them on DVD - great! :-)

The details: German Bowl Defender 1997, 1998, 1999, 2005, 2006 and 2007. They got the Eurobowl in 1999 and 2003, the last years they didn´t participate. Very cool movie to watch is In the lions´ cave - no tale (german) - sure it´s no tale, we don´t talk about soccer here
Most important: they are cool, cute guys :-)
