1995 - we´ve been together for six months only, we went to Australia - for six months. Ingo just finished studying, Iris had just finished the first semester. She took a semester off and off they were. Start was in Sydney, then to the south, a little bit inland and back to Sydney. Six months, bitumen road for the most part in a "conventional" Holden Commodore.

1999 the second study was done - a good time to go back to Australia. Seven months this time. Primarily through the Outback in our Nissan Patrol Long Wheel Base built in '84. The diary now goes step by step here online.

The subject isn´t done yet - incited through all the blogs from Perth the longing after that town went so huge, that we go back there in December - though for three weeks only.

Because: we belong to the lucky ones who have a job. And with that you simply can´t take off for several months. Since 2001 it was the Caribbean´s turn: Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela, Jamaica and again Cuba.
