After Ingo´s apartment got finally flooded for good with heights of over 60cm, ruining even the bed, we shared the 34 m² one-room-flat in Brunswick.

Whilst getting Ingo´s apartment clean swept and empty in several steps after work and on Saturdays, we found a new apartment. We had to renovate a bit, but are moved in now. The old Brunswick-apartment was clean swept and kinda renovated as well and given away for good. Was a lot of stress... but slowly we let sink in in.

Only difficult task: Finding a job in Brunswick for Ingo. Hard times, jobs don´t lie around anymore...

Due to our jobs we lived in different places and saw each other only on the weekends - since 13 years now. With interruptions (in which we lived together ;-)...). At least we belong to the lucky ones who have jobs!

Our relationship was - like most of these kind of relationships - not easy and lived in the week mainly of e-mails. And of our blogs Second half und Double half . And then again of weekends and holidays.

At least we still exist as a couple. Three couples in Iris´ circle of acquaintances who tried to live like that, broke up.

Exchange of experiences with other couples who go - or fight - through this stage of live - or this lifestyle? - is welcome. So if there is someone out there who wants to share thoughts on this with one of us is invited to contact us - maybe we can learn from each other?
