Yesterday evening we had quite a party. In the dark someone came over to us with a torch and told us heīs gonna lead "a couple of" cars to this place. We didnīt realize; the group-campgrounds are one place further up! He couldnīt know that, since there were no signs; the information was on the leaflet only.
Bingo. party, generators, floodlight. And a steadily coughing boy. And we couldnīt even complain, we had chosen the site knowingly. Well, chosen. The quiet campground had been completedly full...
Next morning we got up early. The boy sat already outside, coughing. And no one cared, poor boy! I come to the WCMC later, gotta travel on now!

After breakfast we went to the other side of the Bungle-Bungles. 2 nice walking tracks, one to an Amphie-Theatre, canopied & with a pool & certainly 4-WD-cruisinī was a lot of fun, too.
Through sand, dips & stones we went on to Halls Creek. Expensive place! A large super supreme for $22 & all other for $ 20 - who wants to eat that?
Btw: Itīs so hot, you are actually never hungry.
With a full tank we started off to the Wolf Creek Meteroite Crater, once again ;-) After 20 km we found a good place to stay overnight, an old sidetrack, where we took a refreshing shower. Next morning we went to the Crater, the road was and stayed in a good condition (Thinking of '95, the bad road, a normal Station Wagon & and a bush-fire!) - But also with this car - we fit good in the picture with the color.
When we came back to the rest-Area the next day, two other cars were there, some scientists with rather "flamboyant " cars...
Ingo went down to the Crater, Iīm afraid of heights and didnīt join him. Impressive , the flora in this crater. A refill of the car in HC, on to Old HC & China Wall. Remarkable in OHC, so many died very young, there were few women & until 20 years ago there was a vivid and busy community here in this ghosttown that has been reduced to a busy campground.
