Today we shower with clothes on. The rain doesnīt stop before you ran through and are back in the car. Rain, rain, rain. The car is clammy. We sit in the car, stare at the sea & rock in the storm. Lala sings Lola...
Last night we stayed near the Mulkaīs Caves at the Wave Rock. Sky was starlit & so cold, there were nearly no mossies & we lay in our sleeping-bags at 07:30. Even with a fleece-pullover on I was more freezing than sleeping. The fluid soap was rather pasty. We saw Wave Rock nearly without blowies. I remember last time when people really got jealous on our mosquitoe-nets. But at least itīs not raining.
Nearly every Gravel Road got tared.
Addendum to Albany: We really did have a bbq that night in the rain (what should weīve done with the meat?); people must have thought weīre freaks. A little boy nearly run in a parking car with his bike īcause he couldnīt get his eyes off us...
Ingo found HIS radio-station!!! An ITALIAN MALE
tells stories! What kind of? Dunno, itīs in italian!
Last night the police woke us just in time - the rivers go over their edges. In Moora, ca. 50km from here, people are prepared for evacuation. Most roads arenīt passable here either. Rainy season. Today at the Pinnacles we were lucky though.
